Malcolm X PBS Movie full Documentary

Malcom was once interviewed and the interviewer asked him if he was militant and Malcolm replied "no", I'm Malcolm then he laughed a laugh of self-confidence. This type of self-confidence can only be explained or demonstrated only if you have seen the Mohammed Ali and George Forman fight in Zaire, Africa if you have seen it then you know what I mean.

Malcolm once replied to a reporter, "What you see with your analytical mind is everything that is offered does not produce what it is supposed to produce. There are examples that could be used to argue this point because Malcolm's life exemplifies this very point. The means necessary to achieve the goal of Black identity or as some would identify as Black power was Malcolm's legacy. Malcolm said, "The Black man should be given the opportunity and the incentive to do for himself what the White man has done for himself." If you have an all-White neighborhood, you do not call it a segregated neighborhood but you call an all-Black neighborhood segregated. Because the segregated neighborhood is the one that is controlled from the outside by others. A separate neighborhood is a neighborhood that is independent. It is equal and can stand on its own two feet such as the White neighborhood. It is an independent free neighborhood and free community. They are not trained to force themselves upon anyone socially or otherwise, but the Negro neighborhood which is inferior is begging for a chance to integrate itself into that which is superior which is not going to happen. It is going to cause trouble when you are equal with another person and the problem of integration does not even arise, it does not come up. The Chinese in this country are not asking for integration, the Japanese are not asking for integration, the only minority in America that is asking for integration is the so called Negro. Primarily because he is inferior, not apparently inferior but he is economically, socially and politically inferior and this exist because he has never tried to stand on his own two feet and do something for himself. He has filled the role of a Negro. To me this begs the question, how can the so called Negro stand on his own two feet? "Malcom says, "I can give you this example by explaining the difference between segregation and separation is that which is forced upon an inferior by a superior. Separation is done voluntarily by two peoples. The Black in America for the past 400 years has been like a boy in the White man's house begging the White man for a job, for food, clothing, shelter and then after the White man provides him with all these things he turns around and then has the nerve to get angry with the White man when the White man tries to control his life."

Malcom concludes by saying, "Number one Black people must have a knowledge of himself and this gives him confidence in himself. He has been brain washed by the educational system that exist here in America to the point where he feels he was a savage in the jungle before he was brought here and this destroyed his morale. The number one thing that has to be done is he has to be re-taught, he has to be reeducated and made to know that he is man like anyone else and then he can stand on his own two feet like others."
